You Can't Handle the Truth!

Some people love living in an alternative reality. How can I tell? They balk at reality and deny the truth that is staring them plainly in the face.
What defines insanity? Irrationality.
What defines irrationality? It is denoted by being unreasonable and illogical.
And I say it is denying what is plainly in view. Explaining away what is clearly evident. And telling yourself an alternative version of what is actually happening.
But admitting to the truth is hard. This is why so few of us do it.
The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it, ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. Winston Churchill
Learning how to admit quickly to the truth is the quickest way to freedom.
And denying the truth that is plainly in front of you is the quickest pathway to misery.
"What is truth?" I hear you saying.
Most of what is held up as truth is opinion. Don't get confused.
You know when truth appears. Confusion melts away. Clarity of thought and action appear. And you feel the freedom of it.
Truth is revealed everyday. But you must remain alert and open to receive it. "Open" is the key word here. Most of us remain closed to anything but our own dogma.
Feeding yourself alternative views is the bravest thing you can do. It challenges you to think beyond yourself. To see that which is beyond you.
And you can do this when you understand that truth will reveal itself. And when it shows up, you will KNOW.
Be brave. Be bold. Take courage. Open your heart and mind.
Freedom is waiting on you.
